Condition

The element holding the 'ring' has become detached from the main body of the kettle, and re-adhered using a resin material. This has been re-adhered in the wrong position, and has subsequently become detached. This element therefore needs reattaching to the body of the kettle. Elsewhere there are scuffs, scratches and evidence of wear to the work, in keeping with the nature of the artist's working methods and materials. The work is freestanding, and is intended to be wall-mounted. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
