Exhibited
London, Fischer Fine Art, A Tribute to Lilian Bomberg, 14th March - 12th April 1985, cat. no.41.
Condition
The sheet is affixed to a backing card with one tab at each of the upper corners. The sheet appears sound. There are three pinholes to the sheet, one at each of the upper corners and the third to the centre of the upper horizontal edge, which are thought to be in keeping with the artist's working method. There are one or two spots of light surface dirt and studio detritus, and when viewed unframed, it is possible to see some extremely minor discolouration to the sheet. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition, with strong, fresh passages of charcoal throughout.
The work is window mounted and presented in a painted wooden frame, held under glass.
