Description

  • Stoneware
supported on a short foot and rising to a flared mouth, covered with a lustrous black glaze with subtle russet streaks radiating from the rim, stopping well above the foot in a glossy black bulge revealing the rough dark body, the mouth set with a later metal rim

Condition

There is a restored 1.5 cm glaze flake to the underside of the rim. There is scratching and other surface wear to the exterior and interior.
