Condition

This work is lined using wax as an adhesive. The paint layer is still dirty. The varnish is dull. It does not appear that there have been any damages to the surface of any note. There are a few isolated retouches across the center, addressing some cracking. There are also retouches within the large shell on the table; it is unclear exactly what these retouches address. If the lining were changed and the work properly cleaned, most of these retouches probably would not be necessary, and the work would improve greatly.
