Condition
The painted panel is in good condition. The paint on the multi-colored panel is tightly bound and stable. Along the bottom edge near the proper right corner in-painting is present. Above this area in the white paint a small 1/8” dent in the wood was noted on the property right edge of the panel. A 1/8” paint loss is evident on the mustard brown square on the proper left bottom corner with an adjacent loss noticeable in the white on the side of the panel. Faint splatter marks are noticeable on the glossy varnish on the bottom quarter of the panel. A faint blue line is present on the beige square located near the proper left edge about 9” from the bottom edge. In-painting is found on the blue square on the proper left side located 2 feet above the bottom edge where the wood on the edge.
