Condition

The painting is in very good original condition. When examined under UV light there is no evidence of restoration or retouching. There is an imperfection in the supporting panel in the shape of a long indented line, approximately 2.5 in. long across the lower left corner (visible in the catalogue illustration). The pigment on top of the indentation does not appear to be a later restoration.
