Condition
Executed on cream wove paper laid down on paper. The drawing is in very good condition. The ink is strong. There is light undulation to the paper. There is what appears to be an additional piece of paper, approx. 1.5 in. wide, joined to the entire length of the top of the sheet. This is located above the area of the drawing itself and is thought to be an addition contemporary to the work's execution. There are traces of glue around the perimeter of the lower sheet of paper, which is hidden under the mat. Very minor scattered individual spots of foxing to the sheet and some minor surface dirt.
