Condition
This work is in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down. The medium is stable and presents bright and fresh. The edges of the sheet are deckled. There is very minor time staining to sheet, visible at the lower portion of the left edge and at the extreme lower right corner. The sheet is hinged to the mount at three places along the upper edge. There is scattered metallic residue, most likely from a previous matting, present on the left edge, bottom edge, and top edge of the sheet. There are two very minor areas of craquelure in the black pigment in the lower center of the composition. The sheet undulates very lightly. Otherwise, fine.
