Condition

The artist's mount is hinged to the mat at the upper corners on the verso. There is a mat stain to the perimeter of the mount approximately 1 in to the left, right, and bottom edges and 1/2 in to the upper edge. There are a few minor surface stains elsewhere on the mount. There is tape residue along the perimeter of the mount along all four edges on the verso, and the work is inscribed "Ernst Schwitters Foko." and dated 1923 (on the verso). There are a few scattered stains to the collage, though these may be inherent to the materials. Otherwise, the work is in good condition.
