Condition
The canvas is not lined and there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light; UV examination does reveal some areas of fluorescence which appear to relate to the artist's materials. The window of the mount is oval-shaped. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in places, notably towards the centre of the curved upper edge and in the white pigment at the centre of the composition. There are a few tiny surface losses in places. This work might benefit from a light clean, but is in overall good condition.
