Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a milky varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating; however there are areas of fluorescence evident under UV examination which relates to the uneven application of varnish. The impasto is thick and well-preserved. There are a few scattered fly spots and some fine lines of craquelure in places. Otherwise this work is in very good overall condition.
