Condition

Executed on cream wove paper laid down on cream laid paper and mounted by the artist. This work is floating in the mount. The edges are slightly unevenly cut and the right and lower edges of the sheet on which the image is laid down are deckled. The sheets are lightly time-stained and there is an old mat stain as well as some tiny spots of foxing in places. The mount is inscribed OU in pencil in the lower right corner and there is a further pencil inscription on the left upper edge of the middle sheet. There is a faint water mark to the same sheet at the lower right of the image. There is a minor tear to the centre of the lower edge of middle sheet (approx. 8mm). There are some minor dents to the upper part of the artist's mount, not visible when framed. This work is in overall good condition.
