Condition
The canvas is not lined and there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. However, there appear to be some spots of very old retouching to the lower right corner. There is extensive craquelure with associated paint losses throughout the composition and in particular to the to the upper left quadrant. This craquelure appears to be stable. This work is in overall fairly good condition.
