Condition
The medium is charcoal on paper laid down on card. The work is in fairly good condition. There are pinholes in the upper and lower left corners. There are repaired tears in the upper left corner, and various repairs throughout, more concentrated in the lower left and upper right quadrants, the largest two about ten inches, extending from the left edge towards the bottom edge, and in the upper right corner. There are a few tiny specs of foxing and a small bleach spot in the upper right quadrant near the figure's arm. There is some minor surface and handling marks. There are some traces of old adhesive partially in the bottom margin and in places along the extreme left edge. The work presents well.
