Condition
The work is gouache on watermarked Ingres paper. The work is in good overall condition. The sheet is attached at all four edges to the mat window, verso. There are two small horizontal repaired tears (less than one inch) along the left visible edge and one more in the upper left along the top edge. There is a small tear just below the signature. There are pinholes along the top edge in the upper left and center. The sheet edges are nicked slightly throughout. Most of the aforementioned nicks and tears are covered by the present matting. The media are fresh and the gouache has maintained its dimension. The work presents very well.
