Manual winding movement and tourbillon are all in working order when cataloging. Skeletonized dial in excellent condition, clean and nice. Case with no visible blemishes except some very light superficial hairlines to the case band and back, otherwise quite clean in general. Overall in excellent condition. Case numbered BGG53WGTB and 07/10. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at the buyer's expense. **The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information**

Beside the playful Fantasy series launched with Walt Disney that brought joy to the world, the works of this legendary watchmaker epitomized creativity at its finest. In 2010, Bulgari acquired both the trademark and company of Gérald Genta, continuing this lineage of ingenuity in haute horlogerie.

The Bulgari Tourbillon Saphir debuted in 2010, with its distinctively Gérald Genta-esuqe case design based on the earlier model Arena Metasonic. Bearing a rather self-explanatory model name, this timepiece is made largely from transparent sapphire crystal material, from dial, case back, columns down to movement bridges. The visual impact is stunning as the depth of the watch and its inner workings is entirely showcased and manifested through the truly ‘see-through’ case. Due to its transparent nature, the futuristic vibe of the timepiece is further accentuated when specially designed columns filled with Super-LumiNova® were activated in the dark. The fluorescence emitted from the watch infused an air of contemporary aesthetics, creating a unique viewing experience for wearers.
