Overall in excellent condition. To live up to Mr. Winston’s expectations, the brand has been demonstrating its tireless drive in perfection by its cooperation with various ingenious watchmakers in 2001, the beginning of Opus series. Since then, Harry Winston has been highly regarded as an avant-garde and adventurous watch manufacturer.

Opus 3 is the brain child of the brand and Vianney Halter, an independent French watchmaker renowned for his unorthodox designs. The aesthetics of this model lies on its retro-futuristic aura and intriguing time display method. Fascinated by dashboard counters and other types of measuring instrument since young, Vianny created Opus 3 as the first mechanical wristwatch with digital time display. The dial of the timepiece features six apertures, with each display equipped with jumping indicator to show the hour in the top left and right windows (blue), minutes in lower left and right (black), and date in the vertical central column (red). This mechanism, assumingly easy to read and function, took the brand 7 long years of painstaking efforts to create after its initial announcement in 2003.
