Condition
The marble columns are in good condition overall with some grey veining and natural inclusions to the marble. Minor abrasion to the surface with a few minor chips and scratches to the marble. Some damage and minor losses to the edges of the plinths, notably to the corners. One capital with a small loss to the bottom rim, and a few chips to the edges. One of capitals appears to have been cleaned with acid leaving a smoothend surface. Both plinths and capitals are carved separately and may have been associated to the columns. Very smart and decorative.

Catalogue Note
