- Jadeite carving approximately 77.68 x 60.02 x 29.95mm.
The translucent jadeite of light green to lavender colour, carved as two lychee fruits, symbolising everlasting sweetness in love, to a black cord accented with translucent jadeite beads and double gourd of various colours.
Condition
Accompanied by Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate no. SJ 140541, stating that the jadeite carving is natural, Type "A" Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details.
The jadeite carving is translucent, of multi-colour, light green to lavender, suffused with patches of medium green and intense lavender colour. Upon strong illumination, there are cloud inclusions, very common in natural jadeite, generally not noticeable in normal lighting and do not affect the overall visual appearance. Jadeite bead measuring 8.80mm is medium green colour good translucency. Double gourds of orany brown, bright emerald green and colourless, measuring approximately 14.88 x 7.73 to 14.41 x 7.37mm are translucent. Smaller beads of good translucency measuring 6.31 to 5.12mm are colourless, intense emerald green, orangy yellow, reddish orange and light lavendar colour with cloud inclusions, very common in natural jadeite under strong illumination, and not noticeable under normal lighting. Nice craftsmanship, with fitted wooden stand. Metal in very good condition.
