- Jadeite, Blackened Gold, Diamonds
- Cabochons on necklace approximately 9.50 x 7.36 x 2.39 to 5.54 x 4.57 x 1.10mm, cabochons on earrings approximately 7.75 x 3.56 x 1.08 to 6.60 x 3.79 x 1.58mm.
Comprising: a necklace composed of forty-three well-matched translucent intense green jadeite cabochons alternating with circular-cut diamonds; and a pair of pendent earrings each set with four translucent jadeite cabochons of similar colour, to the diamond-set hook surmount, mounted in 14 karat blackened gold, length approximately 420mm. Condition
Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade and Stone Laboratory certificates no. SJ 139655 and SJ 139652, stating that the jadeite cabochons tested are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details.
Stamped 750 for 18 karat gold, mounted in black gold. The jadeite cabochons are translucent, of light green colour suffused with streaks of intense green. Under strong illumination, there are cloud inclusions not noticeable in normal lighting. Diamonds altogether weighing approximately 1.30ct are about J to L colour, overall VS to SI clarity as gauged and graded in the mount. Shows signs of normal wear to the metal, otherwise in very good condition.
