Condition

Overall in good condition. The top of the cover with metallic hues that are much stronger in person than seen in the catalogue illustration. When viewed in person, the glaze presents with bright colors and a highly detailed surface. The glaze with a few minor air bubbles and surface irregularities inherent in the making and not visually distracting. The surface with some surface scratches consistent with gentle use. Half of the upper rim, below the cover with sensitively undertaken restoration. A beautiful vase by Dalpayrat, acquired from the Clara Schumann collection.
