Description

  • Porcelain
painted with a continuous moonlit mountainous river landscape scene of scholars standing on a bank bidding another scholar farewell, with another scholar on horseback with attendants on the far bank, approaching retreats amongst swirling clouds, all below a thin band of ascending leaves at the cylindrical neck

Condition

This vase is in good condition , but does have some minor fritting to the rim, there is also some iron spots, burst bubbles and scratches to the glaze throughout.
