Description

  • JADE
naturalistically carved as a curled lotus leaf born on a leafy stalk, cleverly carved using the brown stone to one side with a chilong crawling over the rim to form a handle; together with a pale celadon jade Mughal-style 'mallow' bowl, and a pale celadon jade bowl

Condition

The libation cup has a circa 5x5mm., V-shaped rim chip; the Mughal-style bowl has a 2x1cm., rim chip with associated 2.5cm., hairline crack, and two tiny rim nibbles; the bowl is in good condition;
