Commemorating Arkansas statehood on June 15, 1836; the hand-sewn single-appliqued cotton muslin stars configured on the four-piece wool bunting canton in an oval of 24 stars surrounding a huge central star commemorating Arkansas, the canton and stripes are hand-sewn wool bunting; the sleeve is linen with two hand-sewn whip-stitched grommets and encloses a period hemp rope.
