The rectangular black enamel case applied to the front with a line of millegrain-set rose diamonds framing a similarly set circular plaque, opening to reveal a mirror, powder compartment and lipstick holder, to a chain decorated with black enamel and onyx beads, measuring approximately 75 x 45 x 10mm, signed Lacloche Frères, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

French assay mark for 18 carat gold. Signed Lacloche Frères. Numbered 65915. Some minor abrasions to interior commensurate with age and wear, some slight discolouration to mirror and cracks visible to the foiling beneath. Enamel in overall good condition with some minor abrasions and loss of enamel to the enamelled batons on the chain and enamelled hoop, slight scratches to the vanity case enamel consistent with age and wear. Scratches to metal consistent with wear.
