上款：「訥士」即吳本善，吳大澂兄長大根之子，吳湖帆之父。後因愙齋獨子過世，吳本善將湖帆過繼予其為孫。本幅上鈐藏印，可知乃吳氏家傳之故物。
註：本幅扇面，一以惲南田筆致，繪疏石秀竹，柏子尚綠，月季盛開，含苞各一，清華朗潤；另面細描烏絲欄格，抄錄寶父鼎銘文三行八字。此鼎乃愙齋藏品，復由費念慈、徐乃昌等先後遞藏，今存拓本，可識字九十餘，本句為銘文末句。所書所畫皆為愙齋鍾愛，心手雙暢，最為適意，故傳付子嗣。
