Description
- Jade
the tapering sides rising from a slightly spreading foot, the rim with a pair of animal masks supporting ring handles, carved in shallow relief with a band of archaic dragons, divided into panels with vertical flanges set with shou characters, with a thin band of shou characters at the rim, the domed cover similarly carved and surmounted with a coiled dragon finial, the stone of an even pale celadon tone with some white inclusions to the interior

Condition
There is restoration to one suspended ring. There is an 8mm by 3mm chip to the inner rim of the cover and small 2mm by 1mm chip to the outer rim of the cover. There are some nicks to the rim and footrim of the bowl.
