8vo (225 x 135 mm). Woodcut of deformed African-American boy on p. 350, uncut; text lightly and evenly toned with a few small stains. Contemporary blue paper covered boards re-backed in old calf; front joint starting, spine worn, repaired at head and chipped at foot. Quarter morocco case.
