This lot includes the poster for Stuart Ostrow’s play, Stages, which ran for thirteen previews but closed after opening night. Steven Heller in Schiller, David and Marcus, Maurice Sendak A Celebration of the Artist and His Work (New York, 2013) notes it "is among the rarest of Sendak’s posters".
