Condition

This imposing commode is in reasonable condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use, and traces of old woodworm which appears to be no longer active. The veneer presents distressed areas and losses in need of some attention. The original mounts with rubbing and slight tarnishing to the gilding. The original marble has been repaired but it is hardly noticeable.
