Condition

This commode is in good conserved condition, with marks and scratches consistent with age and use. There are traces of old woodworm which however appears to be no longer active. The marble top with one vertical crack. The front drawers with minor restoration to the veneer, and one very minor loss to the marquetry of the central panel. Two small losses to the end marquetry to the left side of both drawers. Restorations to the running of drawers, both on the carcase and on the drawers themselves. A very elegant piece that is ready to be placed.
