Condition
Good overall condition. This carpet was recently cleaned and restored under our supervision. A large hole of 5 cm diameter was rewoven, as well as a few tiny holes throughout the surface. Some tiny restoration along the edges. The weft is made of hemp like for all French carpets of this period. For a maximum conservation of the piece we recommend to reinforce the weft. A quote is available upon request.
