each associated lid with a brass knob handle, one with gilt anthemion decoration and paw feet, the other with line decoration and flattened bun feet together with two further, very distressed examples (4)

Probably William Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire (1790-1858)

Condition

All very distressed and in need of retouching with some rust and associated corrosion. Two very distressed and with holes and one with distressed leg. Losses to gilding etc. etc.
