Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly less saturated in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet undulates very slightly, which is only visible in raking light. Extremely close inspection in raking light reveals a few shallow and unobtrusive surface scratches to the centre of the lower half of the composition and towards the left edge, approximately 60cm. from the lower edge. Further very close inspection in raking light reveals two shallow and unobtrusive scratches towards the lower left corner.
