Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the blues tend more towards green and the yellow of the floor has more green undertones in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some light handling marks and minor discolouration to the varnish in places to the top edge and the upper edges of the two vertical sides. Further close inspection reveals two short scuffs: one to the centre of the top edge and one in the red paint towards the centre of the composition. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals a short brushstroke towards the lower left corner that fluoresces darkly.
