Condition

Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the yellow and green tones are brighter and more vibrant in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals some short hairline drying cracks in places along the painted overturn edges. There is some minor wear with a few associated losses to all four edges and some light wear to the bottom left corner tip and along the left edge. Further inspection reveals a pinhead sized hole to the lower edge, approximately 8cm. from the lower left corner tip. There are a few faint scuffs in places, most notably to the dark green pigment towards the lower right corner and in the yellow pigment towards the top left corner. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
