Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality tends more towards dark teal and is more uniform in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. Close inspection reveals some rubbing and small specks of associated loss in places along the extreme outer edges, a media accretion towards the lower right corner, a tiny speck of loss towards the lower centre of the composition, another minute speck of loss towards the centre of the right edge, a few very shallow, small scratches in isolated places. Only visible in raking light there is a soft impression of bubble wrap along the upper edge. There is a small area of fluorescence towards the centre of the upper edge, which is likely to be restoration.
