Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter, and the catalogue illustration fails to illustrate the purple undertones on the background in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the backing mount in several places. There are artist's pinholes to the upper two corners and the lower edge is deckled. There are a few tiny and unobtrusive specks of surface loss in isolated places towards the lower half of the composition.
