Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly brighter and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a few faint and unobtrusive creases scattered in isolated places to the extreme outer edges. Some slight discolouration has occurred to the paper over time and there are oil stains in places, all of which is in keeping with the artist's choice of media. Extremely close inspection reveals a few slightly compressed impasto peaks in places. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
