Condition
This work is in good condition overall. All of the collage elements are well adhered to the surface of the canvas. There is evidence of minor lifting to the right knee of the left figure, which is only visibly upon close inspection. The collage elements show evidence of faint scattered surface scratches, which are most noticeable within the mid sections of both figures. There is evidence of faint surface scratches in the bottom left and bottom right quadrants of the canvas, which are only visibly upon close inspection. There are two pinpoint surface inconsistencies, which appear inherent to the artist's method of working, one of which is located approximately 6 inches from the left edge and 28 inches from the bottom edge, the other is located approximately 29 ½ inches from the left edge and 28 inches from the bottom edge. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
