Catalogue Note
"A painting can take much longer than a photograph. It’s [a portrait] a commitment on both ends. And I’m doing something that I love. I’m appreciative. Afterwards, I’m able to be more intuitive or play with it if I want to create some story. But sometimes it’s just the painting experience alone that I relish." Henry Taylor
