Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges. Under close inspection, scattered pinpoint spot and media accretions are visible throughout and the surface appears lightly soiled. Under raking light, very fine hairline craquelure is visible in the green painted areas but appears stable. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there are a few pinpoint spots that fluoresce lightly, but do not appear to be the result of restoration. Also under Ultraviolet light inspection, there are several small round spots along the edges and in the top of the green painted area that fluoresce darkly, as well as a thin line that extends approximately 7 inches from the upper left edge, all of which appear to have benefited from light retouching. Framed.
