Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals that some of the thick impasto peaks on the right edge of the composition have been slightly pressed, with a few tiny and unobtrusive associated specks of loss to some of the tips. Further very close inspection reveals three small specs of paint loss; two towards the centre of the left edge, and a second one approximately 10cm to the right of the lower left corner. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a few specks of fluorescence towards the lower edge, however these do not appear to be restoration.
