Condition
Colours:
The colours in the catalogue are fairly accurate.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheets are attached verso to the frame in several places and undulate slightly. There are artist's pinholes to all four corners and to the centre of the vertical edges, and all edges are slightly deckled. Extremely close inspection reveals two pinprick sized specks of loss to the golden paint; one to the extreme right edge and the second towards the lower left of the curve. There is evidence of wear with a few small chips to the corners of the frame. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
