Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is much brighter and more vibrant and the white background tends towards true white in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good and original condition. Close inspection reveals evidence of wear to all four edges and corner tips, with some associated light rub marks to the upper left corner. Further close inspection reveals a few minute and unobtrusive drying cracks to the blue paint towards the centre of the composition. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
