Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the paper tone is lighter and tends more towards sift cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. The sheet is hinged verso to the mount in two places along the upper edge. Close inspection reveals some very faint discolouration towards the corners due to adhesive residue and a few small and faint media accretions in places which appear to be original. Very close inspection reveals evidence of light handling in places with an associated tiny and very unobtrusive tear to the centre of the extreme right edge. There is evidence of discolouration to the ink used on the right side of the composition, which is in keeping with the artist's choice of media.
