comprising: a silver and niello snuffbox engraved with putti, architecture and landscapes, struck with Cyrillic initials OI of a prolific but unrecorded master, Moscow, 1824; a silver-gilt samorodok cigarette case with green cabochon pushpiece, struck with Cyrillic initials AKh of an unidentified master (Postnikova-Loseva No. 2255), Moscow, 1908-1917, also with Cyrillic initials KF, possibly spurious marks for FabergĂ©'s Moscow branch; a silver and niello cigarette case with architectural view, S. Stroganov, Moscow, 1899-1908, all 84 standard. Together with an Estonian silver samorodok cigarette case with a gold-mounted blue cabochon thumbpiece, struck with 875 standard and lion guardant of Estonia, 1922-1939; 4 pieces

Condition

silver & niello snuffbox- the front panel with a dent at right (about 1.5 mm), the back of the left side panel with a larger dent, some small wear to niello, primarily at corners, possibly once parcel gilt silver & niello cigarette case- with minor dings to sides and angles, light surface scratches Estonian cigarette case - the lid with uneven edges, the gold mount scratched, the surface somewhat shallow
