probably Marieberg, modelled with a richly colored parrot perched upon a tree stump issuing two flower-form containers on both side, flanking a shell-shaped, purple feather-edged receptacle in purple.
Condition
One of the branches upon which the bird is perched is broken off at the end. There are several small chips to the edges of the flower-form containers. One cover to the container is lacking and both containers and the cover are extensively restored, making it difficult to determine whether these are made-up pieces.

Catalogue Note
The present example exhibits various attributes of the Marieberg manufactory, specifically in its color palette, modelling, and style of painting. A Marieberg potpourri vase and a bowl and cover surmounted with similarly-modelled and decorated parrots are illustrated by Carl Hernmarck in Marieberg, en Lysande Representant För Svenskt Sjuttonhundratal, color pls. V. and VI. The distinctive feather-edged decoration on the receptacle of the present example is a decorative element widely used by the Marieberg factory, as illustrated in various examples, ibid. , including the soup tureen, p. 90, cat. no. 38 and the two-handled tray, p. 91, cat. no. 39.
