modelled as two tiers of three scallop shells painted in underglaze-blue with flower sprigs resting upon a base encrusted with coral and various shells picked out in turquoise and blue and surmounted by a kingfisher.

Condition

The bird's beak is restored; large restored breaks to one of the small shells and two of the large ones; firing-related haircrack to one small shell; minor chips and losses to the applied coral and shells.
