Condition

One cover has been broken in at least two pieces and restored; its knop is restored, possibly partially made-up, and re-gilt; the other knop has restored chips and breaks around the edges. One jar has a long fine haircrack running down from the rim into the large pink peony on one side. The other has an area of restoration and regilding, probably to a chip or chips, on the rim above one handle.
